Eddie Griggs

Eddie’s love for the outdoors began at a very young age. His dad would let him tag along on the annual “guys” trout fishing trip to the mountains and both of his grandfathers would have him hunting and fishing all across the Old Dominion. Although these three great men are no longer with him; the lessons taught and memories made will never be forgotten.

Eddie began his bass fishing career in the mid 90’s; since that time he has had numerous local and regional tournament victories and has earned the respect of his peers by his consistency in top finishes. Eddie also fished the FLW Tour for two years, making the Championship in both, as well as having two top 10’s along the way.

Eddie began guiding for bass in 2004 and learned a lot about the business from his mentor and friend Teddy Carr. From that beginning, Eddie has put a many of clients on their “best day of bass fishing ever.”

His other outdoor passions include Spring Gobbler and Deer Hunting. Through the years Eddie has had the opportunity to take several trophies, so he now loves to introduce youth and beginners to the hunting world and has had many successful trips with those introductions.

Although Eddie spends a lot of time on the water or in the woods; he is a dedicated family man and loves spending quality time with them. He credits his wife Leslee as being the “glue” that keeps everything together. Coaching or watching the boys(Tyler & Landon) play sports and keeping up with 6 year old Lexi keeps the couple busy.

Eddie is a Licensed Coast Guard Captain and performs guided bass trips on the following bodies of water:

Potomac River, James/Chickahominy Rivers, Buggs Island, & Lake Gaston.
